RACING · FORTNITE
CORE 2 COSMOS
Race from a glowing reactor through lava canyons and city streets to a starry space circuit. Drift and boost across two laps with up to 20 drivers.

One journey. Two laps.
Find your racing line through changing environments. Wide banked corners, elevated roads, shortcuts and the tunnel ceiling route reward learning the circuit. Follow the checkpoints and chase a clean finish.

01 · The starting grid
Up to 20 drivers share the race. Wait for the starting lights: three red lights lead into green and GO! The race clock starts together for everyone.
Use the vehicle controls displayed in Fortnite for your keyboard or controller. Get comfortable with steering, drift and boost before attacking every corner at full speed.
02 · From reactor to cosmos
Start in the industrial reactor environment, follow the course through lava canyons, tunnels and city streets, then climb towards the space section before returning to the reactor. Follow the road and checkpoint gates through each transition.
Outside the space section it stays daytime. The space section has a continuous night setting, giving this part of the circuit its own atmosphere.
03 · Two laps, 30 checkpoints
Complete two laps, passing the 30 checkpoints in their required order. The HUD shows your next checkpoint. Crossing the finish line is not a substitute for following the checkpoint sequence.
If your progress does not advance, check the next-checkpoint indicator before continuing. After recovering your car, check your position and the next gate again rather than assuming a missed checkpoint counted.
04 · Your live race position
Keep an eye on your lap, position, elapsed time and next checkpoint. The leaderboard shows the leading three drivers and a separate YOU row with your own live position, even when you are outside the top three.
For example, YOU 14/20 means you are currently fourteenth out of twenty drivers. Your finishing place and time remain visible after you finish.
05 · Drift and boost
Wide roads and banked corners give you room to choose a line. Look ahead, prepare your entry and keep control through the bend. A clean exit is often more useful than entering too fast and running wide.
Use boost where you can see and control the road ahead, especially after straightening the car. Learn changes of height and direction on lap one and use that knowledge on lap two.
06 · Alternate routes
The course includes shortcuts and a ceiling road in the tunnel. Learn their entrances and exits before committing at racing speed. Follow the required checkpoint order even when choosing an alternate route.
07 · Improve your next race
First aim for a clean two-lap run. Then work on one thing at a time: corner entry, drift control, boost timing or an alternate line. Compare your finishing time and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
