A Victory Royale is always worth chasing, but sometimes the moment I want to upload is a new addition to the collection. My recent Shorts have plenty of both. This week’s Sprite story runs through Pond, Blinky and a Gold Crash Bandicoot given to me by a subscriber.

Three uploads to start with

On 20 September, I posted a Blinky find and extraction. On the 21st came Pond, found and extracted after the update. The next day’s Gold Crash Bandicoot trade and extraction brought the community into the story.

These are short snapshots, not a promise that copying a route will produce the same result. They are useful starting points for deciding what you want to look for next, and a reminder that the collection can grow through moments shared with other players.

A quick ability refresher

Epic describes Pond as a super-jump Sprite, Crash as an airborne spin attacker, and Blinky as a brief cloak triggered by damage. The official v42.20 notes are the reference for those abilities.

Their different roles make the next question more interesting than simply asking which one is rarest: which one suits the way you want to play? Mobility, close-range pressure and a defensive effect encourage different decisions. Try one purposefully before switching, and pay attention to the situations where it helps rather than judging it from a single fight.

Give the hunt a plan

Before dropping, pick one priority. It might be a missing Sprite, a particular variant or simply getting an extraction done. That makes it easier to decide whether a detour is worth taking. A wishlist is useful; trying to finish the entire wishlist in one match usually makes the plan much harder to follow.

When you find something you want to keep, reassess the route. Check the zone, your supplies and the pressure around you. Finding the target and finishing the run are two separate jobs. The exciting part makes a great clip, but it should not distract you from the next decision.

The people behind the collection

The subscriber gift is the part I especially want to highlight. Someone watching the channel became part of its next story. Thanks to everyone who joins a match, shares a find or helps another player with their collection.
